Relative pronouns

We use relative clauses to give additional information about something without starting another sentence. By combining sentences with a relative clause, your text becomes more fluent and you can avoid repeating certain words


I  am a sportsman

I do exercise every day. 

On Modays I don't like exercising

This is my gym

I like lifting weights

One friend likes jogging

Yesterday I was exhausted, I didn't do exercise.



I am a person who does exercise every day

This is the gym where I do exercise every day

Monday is the day when I don’t want to do exercise.

Lifting weight is something that I  like doing

I know a person whose favorite sport is jogging

The main reason why I didn’t exercise is because I was exhausted.

We don’t use that

 

To give extra information, put a comma and start a new clause with a relative pronoun.  End with a comma and continue the sentence.
